It’s important to prepare the visit with the following objectives: To cause an impact through the knowledge of the historic legacy of the Royal Chapel. If the school is provided with computer equipment, it could be done by browsing the different sections of this Website.

It’s advisable to get students into several groups to work on the themes the teacher considers more suitable for each group. The different themes are: the architecture, the royal mausoleums, the main altarpiece, the grilles, the Baroque, the gold and silver works, the fabrics, the Flemish panels, the Italian and Spanish paintings, the Queen’s books, and the Lonja. The additional themes –historic, biographical,musical and others, such as clothes, food, numismatics, philately- which have been suggested in the “Additional resources” section on the Website can be discussed if the teacher thinks that it helps.
