During the times of the Catholic kings, we find some important figures in the cultural life: writers, discoverers, geographers, painters, and sculptors; There are also outstanding saints and theologians in the ecclesiastic circle. Through the browsers, you can find short biographies of the different artists who participated in the works of the Royal Chapel, and of some contemporary figures of that time; in the Historical Synopsis section, we have mentioned many of them and some of the time events during the times of the Catholic kings.

Brief biographies of some Renaissance and Baroque Spanish composers, among them, we find some composers of the Royal Chapel, such as Rodrigo de Ceballos (h. 1525-1581), who got the post of Chapel Master by taking a competitive examination in 1562, and continued working there until his death.
